Never heard of this piece by Mendelssohn before; Overture to the Legend of the Fair Melusine. Only crossed my radar since I'll be playing it next week and was glad to find this recording of it by Paavo Jarvi and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony

I came across this piece -- and from what I understand, this it the concert version of the prelude and finale of the original Opera itself. I must say, I am absolutely enthralled by this, and now wish to actually experience the Opera. Any recommended recordings/interpretations?
