Chopin Mazurka in A minor, Op. 59 No. 1 - one of his more elaborate pieces in the genre, written 4 years before his death at age 39 (!). Only a hint of the “Mazurka” is heard... Chopin used the Mazurkas for many “experiments” in harmony and counterpoint.
