TIL Bees can sense the Electric fields of Flowers. Videos show that when the positively charged bee arrives at the negatively charged flower...pollen literally jumps from the flower to the bee. The bee may fly over to the flower but at close quarters, the flower also flies over to the bee.

TIL of Kelly, a dolphin whose trainers gave her fish for bringing them litter/dead gulls to clean her pool. She started hiding fish under a rock in her pool, then used fish to lure gulls which she brought to her trainers to get more fish. She taught her calf the strategy, who taught more calves.

TIL It is a popular myth that a komodo dragon's bite causes death because the mouth of a komodo dragon is so filthy that the bitten animal ultimately dies of a bacterial infection. In fact, a komodo dragon's mouth is just as clean as most animals and it instead relies on venom to hunt prey.
